In the News

Be-Dazzled Beadery was featured in the local media (Bold Life magazine and the Hendersonville Times News) in 2020 when Barb’s beaded Christmas village was on display at Carolina Mountain Artists Guild in Hendersonville, North Carolina. It has also been displayed at Cherry Tree Beads in Swannanoa, near Asheville.

Each piece in the village is made with tiny Japanese cylinder beads called Delicas, and the beads are sewn together one by one with a needle and thread. The buildings and larger pieces each take about 10-12 hours to complete, and the smaller pieces, including the people and the animals, each take 2-3 hours. The village consists of more than 80,000 beads. Barb made most of the during the early days of the pandemic. It is not for sale.

Beadville was originally designed by Lynsey James with threadabead.com. She is located in the United Kingdom.
